Hour 8: Race Result. 1 Yamaha GMT94, 2 YART Yamaha, 3 Maco Moto, 4 Bolliger Kawasaki, 5 FCC TSR Honda – Moto Ain top STK, SERT 6th in class, Honda 111 7th in class – What a race! 33 seconds after 8 hours, Yamaha 1, 2, 3!
Hour 7: GMT94 and YART neck and neck – One hour left; final stops critical – Battle for third close between Bolliger, Maco, FCC – Track temperature dropping, sun setting - 25 teams still running...

The Oschersleben 8 Hour third round of the FIM Endurance World Championship is under way, with plenty of drama in the first hour.
SERT Suzuki took the lead from the start but their rider Vincent Philippe crashed on lap five with the bike needing repair in the pits which dropped Suzuki team to 29th place and cost them 7 laps.
This allowed LRP Poland BMW to briefly take the lead, before GMT94 Yamaha and then YART Yamaha each worked their way to first place, with YART eventually stretching out a small advantage over GMT94.
FCC TSR Honda were forced to pit very early with what looked like a front tyre problem, and as the leading Yamahas and Bolliger Kawasaki pitted for fuel the 111 Honda Endurance Fireblade showed its ability to make a tnakful of fuel last a couple of laps longer than the rest.
LRP Poland crashed shortly – and massively - after the first round of stops, bringing the safety car out and closing up the field. After 1:15 of racing the order was Yamaha GMT94, YART Yamaha, Kawasaki Bolliger, Honda Endurance, Yamaha Viltais (top SuperStock)
