Oschersleben 8H: First Qualifying

GMT94 Yamaha on provisional pole – YART Yamaha second – LRP Poland BMW third – SERT Suzuki fourth - FCC TSR Honda fifth – Voelpker NRT48 Schubert BMW sixth overall and top SuperStock
GMT94 Yamaha have taken provisional pole position for the Oschersleben 8 Hour round of the FIM Endurance World Championship race this weekend, with an average time across the three riders of 1:27.399. YART Yamaha were second on an average lap of 1:27.634, with Team LRP Poland BMW taking a surprise third place overall with an average lap time of 1:27.854. This time is largely due to the performance of their first rider, Markus Reiterberger who was the quickest individual rider of the afternoon sessions with a personal time of 1:27.169. 0.6 seconds and 1.5 seconds ahead of his team mates Trautmann and De Boer respectively.

Fourth overall was SERT Suzuki (1:27.878), with FCC TSR Honda (1:28.213) fifth overall. The fastest SuperStock team was Voelpker NRT 48 Schubert Motors in sixth place overall with an average of 1:28.259. Bolliger Kawasaki were the only other team to set an average time within a second of the leaders, on 1:28.285.
Fastest SuperTwin was the Ducati Panigale of Hertrampf Racing, in 18th place overall on 1:30.032, just ahead of the EWC class Aprila RSV4 of Aprilia Grebenstein on 1:30.133. A total of 33 teams set a qualifying time this afternoon.

Final qualifying takes place tomorrow between 10:30 CET and 11:50 CET. Night practice will take place this evening between 20:00 CET and 21:30 CET.
