Shanghai: Edwards on Pole, Rossi Second, Stoner Third

Smith Poles 125s, Bautista in 250s...

Colin Edwards has taken pole position for tomorrow's Chinese MotoGP race at Shanghai, with a time of 1:58.139. Valentino Rossi (1:58.494) was second, with Casey Stoner (1:58.591) taking the final front row slot. Lorenzo The Incredible Flying Man was fourth on 1:58.711, with Pedrosa (1:58.855) fifth, Capirossi (1:58.941) sixth and Toseland (1:59.254) seventh.

Bradley Smith (2:12.364) took pole position in the 125 class, ahead of Terrol, di Meglio andTalmacsi, while in 250s it was Bautista (2:04.882), ahead of Barbera, Kalio and Simon.
