Assen: Pitt and Rea Swap Lead Every Lap

Forget SBK – WSS is the One to Watch Now...

World Supersport: Pitt, Rea, Lascorz

Andrew Pitt won the World Supersport race by just 14 thousandths of a second from his Ten Kate Honda team mater Jonny Rea after the two had duelled for the lead throughout the entire 21 lap race. Third place went to Lascorz, with Foret fourth and Parkes fifth. Craig Jones had run with the front runners for most of the staggeringly close race before fading in the final laps.

SERT Suzuki's Matthieu Lagrive finished just three seconds behind the leaders, but crossed the line in tenth place; that's how close this race was from start to finish. If you only watch one race this weekend, make it this one:

SBK Race 2: Bayliss, Haga, Checa

Haga hounds Bayliss all the way but fails to take the race win by just under a tenth of a second despite trying everything in his power on the final lap. Checa once again bubbled to the front by the end of the race.
