Jerez: Pedrosa - Rossi - Lorenzo Toseland 6th – Stoner 10th - Smith 125 Podium... Dani Pedrosa dominated today's Jerez MotoGP, leading from the start and never really looking troubled by the chasing Yamahas of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. There appeared to be little real difference between the performance of Rossi's Bridgestones and Lorenzo's Michelins. World Champion Casey Stoner never really got his act together, running off the track after making two unusual mistakes while dicing with other riders in the early stages of the race and eventually working hard to secure a lowly eleventh place. James Toseland finished sixth despite suffering from a nasty bout of man-flu. He had taken fifth place on the final lap but lost it to a back-on-form Loris Capirossi on the final corner of the race. In the 250s, Mika Kallio was first, ahead of Mattia Pasini and Yuki Takahashi. Edwards Man of the Match Man of the Match award goes to Colin Edwards for his qualifying “save”.
