While you shouldn’t read too much into free practice, there are hints of the front runners appearing, even at this early stage, with the top five running within a second of one another.

Phase One topped the timing sheets with a best lap of 1:16.977 (92.54mph) - the only sub-1:17 lap.  Rounding out the top six are Road Runner (1:17.227), Team Scert (1:17.441), Neate Racing (1:17.642), MotoPort Uluhoorn (1:17.826) and Team Lincs Classic Suzuki (1:18.119).

Sadly the session ended early due to an engine blowing and the resultant oil spill.
