Suzuka 8H: Qualifying - FCC-TSR, Harc-Pro, Yoshi
FCC TSR Honda have taken provisional pole position for the Suzuka 8 Hour round of the Endurance FIM World Championship after their rider Akiyoshi set a time of 2:07.796. Unlike the rest of the championship rounds, Suzuka's qualifying positions are based on the fastest individual rider in each team.

Second place has gone to the HARC Pro Honda, with Yamaguchi setting a time of 2:07.866, with Yoshimura Suzuki's Nobby Aoki putting them third fastest on 2:08.373. The final grid positions for the top ten will be decided during tomorrow's Special Stage qualifying, which sees each rider from the top ten teams set a single flying lap time. Yamaha Austria just missed out on getting through to the Special Stage, with Giabanni's 2:11.638 within a second of the top ten. They will start from 14th place on the grid. Martin put in a best lap of 2:13.064 while Jerman's best was 2:13.855

Yamaha Phase One have qualified in 34th place on the 58 bike grid, with a best time of 2:15.194 set by Damian Cudlin. Gowland lapped in 2:16.443 and Valcaneras in 2:18.267. BK Maco Moto Yamaha will start from 37th place, with Jason Pridmore lapping in 2:15.523 and Ribalta in 2:15.714. Their team mate Carasco broke his wrist after crashing yesterday.
