Sunday Warm Up - Dream Honda Fastest Plus Saturday Night Pitwalk Photos... The No.11 HRC Dream Honda of Kiyonari and Checa was fastest in this morning's Warm Up, with a lap time of 2:08.635. The No.34 Yoshi Suzuki (2:08.931) was second, with the No.2 FCC TSR (2:09.193) third, the No.12 Yoshi Suzuki fourth despite a crash at the end of the session, and the No.33 Dream Honda fifth. SERT Suzuki were 10th quickest, with a time of 2:13.223, Bolliger Kawasaki were 21st, Yamaha Austria 24th, Yamaha Phase One 29th, Diablo Kawasaki 31st, Yamaha Moto38 32nd, Maco Moto Yamaha 36th and QERT Suzuki 37th overall and quickest Superstock. Right now on track the president of Coca Cola Japan and Freddie Spencer are making speeches at each other, so here are some photos from last night instead. Leon Haslam and Cal Crutchlow both rode in the first "Attack" group of riders. Haslam (No.10 Sakurai Honda) was a promising 0.751 seconds up on Takahashi (Harc Pro Honda), who had initially set the pace, but Crutchlow (Moriwaki Honda) beat him by 11 hundredths before being demolished by Takahashi (No.33 HRC Dream Honda) with a time of 2:08.454 that was only bettered by Checa (No.11 HRC Dream Honda) putting in a lap of 2:08.338.
Saturday night is real mix of the technical, with teams doing pit practice, ...
...and the more 'artistic', with the inevitable skimpy women.
