Bol d'Or 24H: Night Practice Cancelled GMT94 1st Overall - SERT 2nd - YART 3rd... Yesterday's hot and sunny weather came to a sudden but not unexpected end yesterday evening with the loud arrival of a thunderstorm. Torrential rain, lightning strikes and peals of thunder battered the circuit, and both night practice sessions were cancelled on safety grounds. The Race24 team retreated to the All-You-Can-Eat buffet at the local Chinese, also on safety grounds. The night sessions will not be rescheduled for this evening. The weather today is currently dry, but thick clouds are blowing across the circuit and the forecast is for more rain. Track temperatures are also significantly lower than yesterday, and the top teams are not expecting to improve on the times they have already set. Yamaha GMT94 are currently fastest overall, calculated by taking the average of their three riders' best laps. Their time of 1:41.757 is just a couple of hundredths of a second faster than SERT Suzuki No.1's average of 1:41.783, with Yamaha Austria two tenths behind in third place on 1:41.954. Team Kawaaki France (1:42.031) are fourth and SERT Suzuki No.2 (1:42.442) fifth. There is then a half second gap to Junior Team Suzuki LMS - fastest Superstock - on 1:43.187, with Bolliger Kawasaki (1:43465) in seventh place, Yamaha Phase One (1:43.540) in eighth, Yamaha Folch (1:43.574) in ninth and National Motos Honda (1:43.688) in tenth. Jorg Teuchert has settled into Phase One quickly, last seen tucking into the biscuits in the catering tent after setting team's fastest lap of 1:43.093. Cudlin was just behind on 1:43.263, while Gowland only managed a 1:44.265. This is Gowland's first visit to the track and he is bound to improve. Diablo Kawasaki are 26th overall on 1:46.322 after struggling to find a god setup on Wednesday. Damian Rowley is here on the MCS Racing Ipone Suzuki, which has qualified in 53rd place.
Qualifying 2 starts under leaden skies
