Bol d'Or 24H: First Qualifying - Summary

GMT94 Fastest - SERT Not Fastest...

Yamaha GMT94's Sebastien Gimbert was fastest in the "blue" group, with a time of 1:40.826, more than a second ahead of Kawasaki France's Ivan Silva (1:41.898) with SERT Suzuki No.1's Vincent Philippe (1:42.050) third and SERT Suzuki No. 2's William Costes (1:42.159) fourth. Freddy Foret in fifth place overall on the Junior Team LMS Suzuki with a time of 1:42.368) was fastest Stocksport bike.

National Motos Honda were 6th, Yamaha Austria 7th, Folch Yamaha 8th and Graeme Gowland for Yamaha Phase One 12th.

Two red flags in the first session... Lining up for the first flying lap of qualifying.

In the "white" group, SERT No.1 Matthieu Lagrive was fastest, on 1:41.383, with GMT94's David Checa (1:41.670) second, Yamaha Austria's Steve Martin (1:41.739) third and SERT No.2's Guilliaume Dietrich (1:42.310) fourth.

Sebastien Charpentier on the Stocksport Moto Revue Honda France bike was fifth overall on 1:42.388. Phase One's Jorg Teuchert was 9th on 1:43.093, and Diablo Kawasaki's Micheal Weynand was 17th on 1:44.372.

The lead in the "red" group changed several times, with Kawasaki France's Erwan Nigon fastest on 1:41.434, ahead of YART's Gwen Giabbani (1:41.469) and SERT No.1's Julian Da Costa (1:41.918).

Phase One's Damian Cudlin (1:43.357) was 7th, ahead of Folch but behind Bolliger.
